Creating Your Own Hybrid Engine Through an HHO Generator

HHO generators are becoming more and more in demand as the word spreads out on various forms of media, from paid TV commercials and newspaper adverts to the online world – the internet. Some skepticism is expected from people listening and absorbing this information, as the first intelligent question to ask is:

“Why aren’t new vehicles being powered by these HHO generators if they are proven to work?”

The exact truth is more complex, as there are many factors involved. The main issue is profits in all cases. Oil companies, political leaders and the automobile industry all play significant roles in their own right to maximizing their own profits, with the least expenses possible.

This is why alternative energy sources like electrical vehicles, hydrogen cars and solar energy vehicles are created as concepts with a minority ending in limited short-runs of production as test moles. Most of these projects end up abandoned under the continuous R&D excuse. The reality is that they know that though these systems work, they are not sufficient enough to replace our dependable fossil fuel energy vehicles. In other words they are gaining time.

HHO generators – which produce hydroxy gas from water have been available for some time in many experimental forms, some also deemed unsafe for automobile usage. However many courageous individuals have taken up this challenge to run internal combustion engines on water, building on the knowledge from previous experimenters trails and errors together with small communities of like-minded individuals. In fact the first generations of HHO generators were large and complex to achieve any significant performance gains and were designed on the wet HHO cell type.

Today there are two main types of HHO generators which are the improved wet HHO cell types and the dry HHO cell types. Both have improved performance gains, became more compact and are running on less current from the first experimental designs. This is an effective way of converting any conventional engine which runs on either gasoline or diesel to become a hybrid performance engine.

There are various options on the market today. You can either build your own HHO generator through a D.I.Y. (do-it-yourself) guide, which can be purchased on the internet or by buying a D.I.Y. system on CD, or you have another option of buying ready-made kits which only need installation. The third option is finding manufacturer who caters for the product and in-house installation by qualified technicians. The least expensive is the D.I.Y. option, but some people who are not so technically-inclined might find this is not for them. By paying more you still can have an HHO generator installed by professionals without having to worry about the technical challenges involved.

Either way, if you have a good system installed you can expect fuel reduction costs the region of 20-60%, depending on the design and quality of the system. Even following the professional route, it is much cheaper compared to buying an alternative hybrid vehicle.

The good thing about these systems is that they do not need any internal engine modifications, and can be simply removed if one decides to sell the vehicle. The HHO generator can later be installed on the new vehicle – like a car alarm, or car stereo.
